This module is about understanding trauma-informed responses for disclosure and behavior, as well as how to integrate trauma-informed perspectives in culture.
Why this matters: As a compassionate coach it is critical that you know how to respond to a survivor in a trauma-informed way. You need to know how/when to intervene when you know/learn about abuse occurring.
What to Expect
- Adapt your current response to disclosures of abuse to be based on trauma-informed principles.
- Demonstrate the ability to support any athlete who discloses any abuse.
